Overview

The Blue Yonder Picking Connector handles incoming tasks and manages outbound status responses for those tasks. Incoming tasks can be for Picking or Transportation. The incoming tasks are evaluated and the appropriate the SOFTBOT Platform events issued to orchestrate the data to the appropriate edge technology. Incoming tasks can be new, updates, merges, or cancellations.
As the tasks are executed the edge technologies, either picking or transportation, will respond with status updates including final disposition. The Connector will subscribe to these updates and provide Blue Yonder with all expected task status updates.
